Oaknook Honey Products Ltd is a family owned, commercial honey producing operation.  The company began in 1974 with 2 hobby colonies under the care of Hilliard and Pat Yakimishen.  Like many founding beekeepers, their interest in bees and their drive to produce quality, Natural Pure Honey blossomed.  

Today, Oaknook Honey Products Ltd is managed by Hilliard and Pat Yakimishen and by their two sons, Todd (B.Sc., President of the Manitoba Beekeepers Association) and Ryan (B.Sc.Eng., M.Sc.).  The company is now busy caring for 2000 colonies and in doing so provides a source of employment in Manitoba’s Parkland.  Oaknook Honey Products Ltd has expanded to offer a variety of bulk and packed-honey products including natural pure honey, bee pollen, and comb-honey.  The company has expanded into raw-propolis production, wooden-ware bee supply manufacturing, and the raising and management of packaged bee colonies.  Oaknook Honey Products Ltd is also a Canadian supplier of quality Chilean queens.
